A.C.A. presents the second annual SAT Vocabulary Bee! All John Students are welcome to enter! The competition takes place on Thursday, April 30th at 4:45 in the teacher's cafeteria. Sign up in the English Department, Room 232, and download the attached study guide to prepare!

Registration for the College Now technology class is now open for the Fall 2015 term!
Shout out to Juniors! The College Now Web Applications class through Queensborough Community College is now forming for the Fall 2015 term. The course meets on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM through 11:30 AM. Tuition is free and the class takes place at Bowne. The course offers three transferable college credits. Students must complete two registration forms to be eligible. See Mr. Ojalvo or Mr. Sussman in room 124 or the link on the school website for more information.

Shout out to Sophomores and Juniors! If you would like to earn FREE college credits see Mr. Cocheo in Room 247 during periods 3, 5 or 8 to sign up for the Fall Term. You must meet eligibility requirements to be accepted into the program. Open the link to see the requirements.

The library will be open Monday-Friday during "12th" period (4:41 PM- 5:27 PM) and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM -12: 00 PM during Cycle III. Teachers/librarians will be there to assist students in the research process.
